  1. Armored Fist Update
  2. version 1A11

  4. This disk contains two self-extracting archive files for updating
  5. Armored Fist to the latest version.  You only need to use one of
  6. these files, depending on whether you have the CD-ROM or floppy
  7. disk version of the game.
  8.  
  9.    If you have the CD-ROM version, use AFCD11.EXE.
  10.  
  11.    If you have the floppy disk version, use AFFD11.EXE.
  12.

  14. To install the update:

  16.  * Copy the appropriate EXE file to the location
  17.    on you hard drive where Armored Fist is installed.
  18.    To verify the correct location, there should already
  19.    be a file called FIST.RUN there.
  20.  
  21.  * Type the name of the archive file to extract the update
  22.    (either AFCD11 or AFFD11).
  23.  
  24.  * This will replace 6 files in your game directory.  For each file
  25.    you will be prompted whether it is OK to replace the existing
  26.    file. Answer 'Y' to each prompt.
  27.  
  28.  * Run the game. If it has updated successfully, the Main Menu screen
  29.    should say version 1A11 at the bottom.

  32. If you ever need to reinstall the game from the original disk(s), you
  33. will also need to reinstall this update afterwards.
